Concord (/k ek rd/ cawn-cord;) is the biggest city in Contra Costa County, California.

At the 2010 census, the town/city had a populace of 122,067 making it the 8th biggest city in the San Francisco Bay Area. Founded in 1869 as the improve of Todos Santos by Salvio Pacheco, the name was changed to Concord inside months.

Army Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC) and is now known as Military Ocean Terminal Concord (MOTCO). The town/city is working on a reuse plan that may include developing the territory while keeping a large portion for open-space and parks projects.
